Simply Horror Book and Movie Society In-Person
Simply put, horror is a genre meant to frighten the reader or viewer. Horror can be humorous, creepy, grotesque and terrifying. Horror can be woven into everyday life or just plain fantasy. Horror elevates emotions and ignites our imagination.
This month we will explore historic horror stories such as The Woman in Black, Slewfoot and The Terror.
We invite you to explore the diverse genre of horror along with other connoisseurs of terror. We will share what we are reading and watching each month in one of the 10 horror subgenres. Light snacks for nervous, but civilized nibbling will be provided.
