Summer Reading Celebration Party Everson
Join us for an all-day, open house-style party to celebrate the completion of our Summer Reading program! Visit any of our branches for fun activities, crafts, book recommendations, and lots of library love. Bring the whole family as we celebrate our reading accomplishments.
At the Everson Library, we'll have indoor and outdoor games, crafts, snacks, drinks, and a scavenger hunt throughout the day, but we also have two extra special happenings in the afternoon. The first 100 people that show up between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM will get one free paleta (delicious Mexican ice pops; additional paletas will be available for purchase while supplies last), and at 2:00 PM we'll be whacking a piñata!
All fun, food, and games are courtesy of the Friends of the Everson Library, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports the Everson Library. If you'd like to join the Friends or show your support, Friends will be available to sign you up throughout the day. They even have merch available!
