SUMMARY:Blaine Library Winter Exhibition: Kay Dee Powell and Motoko Lewis
DESCRIPTION:The Blaine Library is pleased to announce our winter exhibition 
 of local artists: Kay Dee Powell and Motoko Lewis\n\nKay Dee Powell is a 
 co-creator and past president of Blaine Arts Council\, and her passion is 
 to promote art and artists in our community. A life-long learner\, Powell 
 loves to play\, to experiment\, to create. Her paintings are inspired by 
 her love of color and nature's abundance.\n\nMotoko Lewis feels that her 
 true language is drawing and likes to draw from live sources whenever 
 possible. She believes that emotion reveals itself from the lines and 
 smudges\, creating an atmosphere beyond the paper. Motoko's exhibit 
 includes pieces created for the recently published children's book: The 
 Adventures of Wonky Willy.\n\nExhibits will be on display at the Blaine 
 Library during library open hours\, from January through the end of 
 March.\n
