SUMMARY:Baby Grand Reborn Exhibit by J. A. "Annie" McDonnell
DESCRIPTION:This exhibit showcases music reborn through visual art created 
 from a crushed\, trashed Baby Grand Piano. J.A. "Annie" McDonnell retrieved 
 the piano from an Alaskan landfill. Piano parts and keys have been brought 
 back to life to celebrate music visually\, with a nod toward jazz. Artful 
 notes hang or stand like music surrounds\, like the unheard color of music. 
 Notes seeking sound. The discarded piano’s wooden case (shown in a 
 photograph) has found a new life as a case to hold books\, a bookcase of 
 words\, like the written score of a musical composition. On display in the 
 Deming Library Meeting Room from April 21st through May 28th.  Sponsored by 
 the Friends of the Deming Library.\n
