DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a photography exhibit by Jerry McDonnell at the Deming 
 Library. \n\n"I ask the eye to find the image and coach the camera’s 
 settings in an attempt to capture a moment in time." \n\nThis collection of 
 images offers a glance at the vast and beautiful land of Alaska — from 
 the shoreline to the border nestled next to the Yukon Territory of Canada. 
 Using a combination of film (color and black and white) and digital 
 photography\, McDonnell creates prints without digital enhancements. 
 Sharing the belief of some Indigenous cultures that what has happened in a 
 place continues to happen in that place\, McDonnell shares\, "Life is not 
 linear. I am still there."\n\nOn display in the Deming Library Meeting room 
 from January 27 through March 5.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Deming 
 Library.\n
