CANCELED: Come Together! Earth Day 2020

NOTICE: Due to current guidance from public health officials, the Library is canceling all programs, events, meeting room bookings, and outreach activities during the month of March. At this time, all branch locations continue to operate with normal hours. Find out more about our response to COVID-19 and how to access library services online at wcls.org.

Create art from recycled materials, and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. We’ll begin with a story by Andrea Tsurumi then work with a team on a collaborative, county-wide art piece. Or create your own amazing work of art to take home. This program is made possible by the RE Store, Sustainable Schools, and AmeriCorps. For kids and teens.

The completed piece will travel the county, beginning at the Ferndale Library where we'll have an opening reception on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
