CANCELED: When a Bear Comes to Town: Washington’s Black Bears and Ways to Coexist with Them In-Person
NOTICE: Due to current guidance from public health officials, the Library is canceling all programs, events, meeting room bookings, and outreach activities during the month of March. At this time, all branch locations continue to operate with normal hours. Find out more about our response to COVID-19 and how to access library services online at wcls.org.
Join wildlife biologist Robert Waddell from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife for an informational program on black bears. Learn all about black bear biology and behavior. The presentation also covers how best to avoid coming into conflict with black bears and what to do in such a situation. Get your questions answered and deepen your understanding of Ursus americanus.
