Personal Computer Security 2020 In-Person

Local author and industry expert Marv Waschke will talk about changes in the computer security landscape and explain five basic rules of computer hygiene to help you avoid becoming a victim of cybercrime.

Marv Waschke is a 4th generation Whatcom county native who wrote his first computer program in 1967 for extra credit in a chemistry class. He designed and developed enterprise service and network management software for many years for Fortune 500 banks, insurance companies, manufacturers, and government agencies. He has written two books on cloud computing architecture and a book on personal computer security.
