The Art of Living is one of the largest non-profit organizations in the world, founded in 1981 by renowned spiritual teacher and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
It is committed to uplifting and empowering individuals and communities through a blend of ancient wisdom and modern science, with a particular focus on stress reduction and mental well-being.

Bernadette Zuzarte, who likes to be known as Bliss, is a volunteer of the Art of Living Organization. She was introduced to the practice when she joined an online weekend course  entitled " Happiness". Born in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa, Bliss has been a resident of Whatcom County since 1999, moving to California for six years to raise her family and pursue work and interior design studies.
