Tech Help Hour In-Person

Need help with a technological issue? Want to learn more about library digital services? Drop by the Blaine Library for some one-on-one assistance from a staff member. Sessions are designed to address a single issue and last for 30 minutes.

Schedule a session in advance, or drop in for help on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here are some examples of topics covered:

  • Downloading, streaming, or accessing WCLS digital resources
  • Basic computer, tablet, e-reader, or smartphone skills
  • Setting up and using email
  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet questions
  • Library catalog and online resources

The following topics are examples of what is beyond the scope of this basic service:

  • Diagnosing and fixing hardware problems
  • Recovering lost data, reconfigurations, or factory resets
  • Removing viruses or setting up device security
