Teen Poetry Open Mic @ Open Book In-Person

Teens, come speak your truth! WCLS invites Whatcom County teens in grades 6th - 12 to read their original poetry at this special open mic program that will take place during our first ever Open Book Festival at the Ferndale Events Center. Each poet will have up to 3 minutes to read. Poems must be entirely your own original work.  Make sure to invite friends and family to come cheer you on and come early so you can enjoy all the Open Book festivities. Registration is required. We will fit in waitlisted poets as time allows.  The Ferndale Events Center is at 5715 Barrett Rd, Ferndale, WA 98248.
